Author’s Note: THANKS To Marilea for the beta read. Remaining mistakes are mine. I changed the little things so many, many times. This is a hard one to let go of. This is somewhat darker than my other fic, be warned. It scared me to write, so I wrote it. I tried to keep it feeling real and in the moment, but not too graphic. People die, some you know, some you don’t, but this is *not* a deathfic. Also, I have seen episodes of Profiler since I wrote this and found they had used the name “Jack” for their long-running serial killer/stalker. I made the choice to keep mine anyway.
